Château Monconseil Gazin, Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux
A medium bodied classic wine with an impressive pedigree of trophies and accolades.
Aged 12 months in barrels (25% new), it shows an expressive aroma of ripe fruits complimented by soft woody tones and hints of violet. It is Medium-bodied on the palate, with a perfect balance of ripe fruit, well-formed tannins and a refreshing finish.
Merlot (65%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), Malbec (5%).
Vinification: De-stemming, fermentation and 20-30 days maceration under controlled temperatures; gentle pressing, malolactic fermentation in vat.
Maturation: Twelve months maturation in French oak barrels (25% new), blending and light filtration, estate bottled.
Serve at 17-18°C. Drink 5 to 10 years. Perfect with red meat, grills, cheese.

A full-bodied, concentrated and intense, yet elegant fine red Bordeaux with a long finish.
Merlot (60%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), Malbec (20%).
Aged 12 to 18 months in barrels, it shows ripe dark berry aromas with complex toasted notes of wood and vanilla. Rich and mouthfilling on the palate, balancing a fine tannic backbone and good freshness.
Vinification: de-stemming, fermentation and 20-30 days maceration under controlled temperatures, gentle pressing, malolactic fermentation in vat.
Maturation: 12 to 18 month maturation in French oak barrels, blending and light filtration, estate bottled.
Serve at 17-18°C. Drink 5 to 10 years. Partner with red meat, game, rich sauces, cheese.

A light and refreshing wine with an attractively delicate aromatic bouquet and a juicy palate for a 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
An aromatic bouquet of citrus, broom and exotic fruit on the nose. On the palate, its lively acidity balances a good fresh fruit character of citrus, kiwi and grapefruit for a mouth-watering finish.
Vinification: de-stemming and cool pre-fermentation maceration for extraction of aromas and preservation of fruit character. Gentle pressing and fermentation under controlled temperatures.
Maturation: maturation in vat on fine lees overwinter, light fining and filtration, estate-bottled.
Serve 8-10°C. Drink 1 to 2 years.
A great summer aperitif, or accompanies seafood, sushi, smoked fish, salads and cheeses.
Château Monconseil Gazin, Prestige white wine, Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux
A sophisticated white wine with classic French restraint, elegance and finesse, Sauvignon Blanc (80%), Semillon (20%).
Fermented and aged in oak barrels for 6 months with lees stirring for complexity and richness. Medium bodied, with a fine citrus aroma overlays delicate notes of oak and acacia. Shows exotic fruit on the palate, with hints of spice. Elegant and refreshing with a long finish.
Vinification: de-stemming and cool pre-fermentation maceration for extraction of aromas and preservation of fruit character. Gentle pressing and fermentation in 300 litre oak barrels (33% new).
Maturation: six month maturation in barrel with lees-stirring, blending, light fining and filtration, estate-bottled.
Serve 10-12°C. Drink 2 to 4 years.
Drink as an aperitif or pairs excellently with scalops, fish, white meats (poultry or veal), foie gras, cheese.
Château Monconseil Gazin, dry rosé wine, Bordeaux rosé
50% Cabernet Franc, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon.
A rosé with an intense fruit bouquet and floral notes. Medium to light body on the palate with a pleasing freshness for summer drinking.
Vinification: de-stemming and gentle-pressing, leaving just enough time in the press to give the juice its delicate rosé hue. Pre-fermentation maceration followed by temperature-controlled fermentation at 14-19°C for around three weeks.
Bottled at the Château in the spring after the vintage.
Serve well-chilled, 8-10°C.
